COMPARISON USING “AS AS” (comparação usando “tão quanto”)

You've seen the comparative (você viu o comparativo)

with “ER”.(com “ER”)

He's smartER than me.(ele é mais inteligente que eu)

This tree is biggER (esta árvore é maior)

than this tree.(que esta árvore)

Using “AS AS”...(usando “tão quanto”)

you just put the adjective (você só coloca o adjetivo)

in the middle.(no meio)

I’m not AS smart AS my kids.(eu não sou TÃO inteligente QUANTO minhas filhas)

But they're not AS fast AS me.(mas elas não são TÃO rápidas QUANTO eu)

I’m not AS (eu não sou TÃO)

focused AS my wife.(focado QUANTO minha esposa)

But sometimes she's not (mas às vezes ela não é)

AS consistent AS I am.(TÃO constante COMO eu sou)

Now you choose 1 of these (agora você escolhe 1 destes)

as small as (tão pequeno quanto)

as big as (tão grande quanto)

as slow as (tão devagar quanto)

as fast as (tão rápido quanto)
