REVIEW OF PAST CONTINUOUS (revisão do passado contínuo)

Past Continuous is the same as (passado contínuo é o mesmo que)

Present Continuous.(presente contínuo)

BUT (mas)

with the verb be in the past.(com o verbo ser/estar no passado)

You WERE studyING last night.(você ESTAVA estudANDO noite passada)

We WERE talkING together.(nós ESTÁVAMOS falANDO juntos)

She WAS callING her friend.(ela ESTAVA chamANDO o amigo dela)

I WAS gettING up two minutes ago.(eu ESTAVA levantANDO dois minutos atrás)

My kids WERE sleepING (minhas filhas ESTAVAM dormINDO)

when I got up.(quando eu levantei)

You see?(você vê?)

Just this.(só isso)

You WERE studyING.(você ESTAVA estudANDO)

I WAS talkING to you.(eu ESTAVA falANDO com você)

Now you invent 1 sentence (agora você inventa 1 frase)

We were studying (nós estávamos estudando)

We were talking (nós estávamos falando)

I was calling (eu estava ligando)

I was getting up (eu estava levantando)

They were sleeping (eles estavam dormindo)

I was talking to you (eu estava falando com você)

using the Past Continuous.(usando o Passado Contínuo)
