Victory?

"The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" was written by John Maxwell in 1998, and its goal is to improve your skills as a Leader.

I'm happy to see you here! Let's study Law n. 15: The Law of Victory. "Victorious leaders have one thing in common: they share an unwillingness to accept defeat. The alternative to winning is totally unacceptable to them. As a result, they figure out what must be done to achieve victory". But there's a slight difference between regular people and leaders…

Leaders find a way for the team to win, not (only) themselves, and as John Maxwell says "when the pressure is on, great leaders are at their best". The author mentions 3 components of victory:

1- Unity of vision: teams succeed when everyone shares the same vision;

2- Diversity of skills: complementary talent is key for a successful organization;

3- A leader dedicated to victory and raising players to their potential: dedication + empowerment.

Yes. Victory with and for a team. The first step in practicing the Law of Victory is taking responsibility for the success of the team (or family, or friends…) you lead. It must become personal, my friend. Your commitment must be higher than that of your team members. Your passion should be high, your dedication must be unquestioned. How bad do you want it?
